Flagtail Prochilodus

The Flagtail Prochilodus (Semaprochilodus insignis) is a striking South American characin prized for its beautifully patterned tail fin featuring bold red, yellow, and black bands. An active schooling fish that adds brilliant color and movement to large community tanks. They are peaceful despite their size and make excellent dither fish for large cichlid or predator setups, reducing aggression among tankmates.
