🐟 BLACKBERRY DOLLAR 🌎 Origin: South America — mainly Amazon & Orinoco basin regions 📏 Adult Size: 6–8 inches 🏠 Tank Size: Minimum 3 to 4 ft tank for adults; larger is better for a group 🌡️ Temperature: 24–28°C 💧 pH: 6.0–7.5 ⚡ Temperament: Peaceful, active & schooling; can be shy when kept alone ⏳ Lifespan: Around 5–8 years with proper care 🍤 Feeding: Quality herbivore pellets/flakes, spirulina base food, prawns ,frozen bloodworms 🐠 Tank Mates: Peaceful medium-to-large community fish such as Severum, Geophagus, Uaru, peaceful Plecos and other peaceful Dollar Fish 🪨 Tank Setup & Care: Spacious swimming area, strong filtration, moderate water flow and good oxygenation. Use driftwood and smooth rocks with hardy plants; they may nibble on soft plants. Keep them in a group of 5–6+ when possible. Regular water changes are important. 💙 AAF Tips: Blackberry Dollar Fish are fast, active schooling fish and look best in a group. Give them plenty of open swimming space and a predominantly plant-based diet. Always use a secure lid, as they can jump when startled.
