Refund Policy

1. Scope & Eligibility

This policy applies to all live fish and product purchases made directly from Ashok Aqua Fish. Due to the perishable nature of live animals, refunds are strictly governed by the following conditions to ensure animal welfare.

2. Live Fish Refund & Replacement

DOA (Dead On Arrival) Protocol: Customers must report any deceased fish via video evidence within 1 hour of delivery. We will offer a 100% replacement or store credit for verified cases. Cash refunds are not provided for live stock. If a train is delayed due to natural calamity, the refund will not be applicable.

Health Guarantee: Fish are guaranteed to be healthy and free from parasitic disease at the time of dispatch. We do not provide refunds for fatalities occurring after 24 hours from delivery, as they may result from acclimatization, tank conditions, or incompatible tank mates.

3. General Purchases

Expired medicine, food, or damaged/broken equipment may be returned within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they are in original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

4. Process

To initiate a claim, contact us at our contact number with your order number and supporting media (video/photos). Our team will respond within 48 hours.

  • Customer Responsibility: The buyer assumes all responsibility for appropriate tank conditions upon delivery
  • Shipping & Risk: We partner with expert couriers. Ashok Aqua Fish is not liable for delays or mishandling by the shipping carrier once dispatched
  • Acclimatization: It is the customer's duty to follow proper acclimatization procedures

4. Intellectual Property

All content (images, videos, logos, text) on our website and social media channels is the property of Ashok Aqua Fish and may not be used without prior written permission.

5. Limitation of Liability

Ashok Aqua Fish's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total value of the order in question.
